Transportation policy
Homemax offers local pickup, local delivery and carrier shipping. Select your preferred method on the checkout page. Some items may require a custom invoice to cover shipping costs, this will be noted on the product listing. In this case, please follow the instructions on the listing to receive a custom invoice for shipping to your address.
Local pickup
Select local pickup: Select the local pickup option at checkout. An order confirmation will be sent to you via email or text message. Show this message to any Homemax employee when picking up your order. Local pickup of online orders is free with no additional charges! Picking up your order from our retail locations makes shopping efficient and convenient. After checking out on the payment portal, your order is usually ready within 2 hours.
Local delivery
To select local delivery: Select the local delivery option on the checkout page. Order confirmation will be sent to you via email or text message. You will be notified when the HomemaxShop delivery driver arrives.
Local delivery is only available to customers located within our delivery area. If “Local Shipping” doesn’t appear on your shopping cart page, the shipping address is not within our shipping area.
*Note: Local delivery does not include installation inside your home*
Homemax employees are not allowed to bring merchandise into homes or other delivery locations. When selecting the local delivery option, one of our drivers will deliver your order to your door. When special arrangements are made to place an order or product installation, additional charges will apply. The total amount of additional fees and costs depends on a variety of factors such as: distance, order weight, number of drivers, etc. Therefore, product placement and installation do not automatically appear on the checkout page. If you are interested in arranging these special services, please contact us.
Shipping
Homemaxshop offers delivery services outside the local delivery area. We use third-party carriers (such as USPS, UPS, FEDEX) to ship orders within the limits set by the third-party carrier. Shipping weight limits are set by the third-party carrier, so some orders may not be eligible for shipping. In such cases, at the customer’s request, we may be able to make personalized shipping arrangements, which may include additional invoices, fees and/or other specialized order adjustments. If approved, shipping costs will be determined on an individual basis and communicated directly to our customers. For such cases, a custom invoice will be created to reflect the updated shipping costs and sent to our customers via email along with new checkout instructions.
